At the bottom of page 2, the report states: “On 9-15-14 I met with a Ms. The date and time of the report is 9/15/14 at 9:52 am. I’ve attached the incident report below that lists Judy as the complainant. Judy and Tracey Hunter each have claimed they notified the PD on 9/15/14. There isn’t confirmation of this that I’ve found. After no luck with contacting Cassie’s friends, Judy claims she notified Stuttgart PD.īrandon has claimed that he notified Stuttgart PD on 9/14/14 in person by riding his bike to their office. Her calls went straight to Cassie’s voicemail. She immediately began texting and calling Cassie, but didn’t receive a response. Judy realized Cassie wasn’t in her bedroom the following day (Sept 15th). She also carried an epipen for allergies, but it appears she did not bring it on her walk on the 14th. She would flush her medications in the toilet. Cassie did not like taking antidepressants. I could not locate a source confirming she was bi-polar. Judy has also stated Cassie was recently diagnosed with a mental disorder, and believed she was bi-polar. Per her Charley Project page, Cassie was taking medication for a severe cold. Brandon did not have a driver’s license or own a car when Cassie disappeared. From what I could find, Judy was able to recall what Brandon did that evening as follows: he prepared dinner for Judy around the time Cassie returned from the derby. She is never seen again after sending this text. Per Judy, she nor Brandon weren’t in the room that Cassie left (I’m assuming this is the living room or another communal area). Between 7-7:15 pm, Cassie texted “I’m going to get a smoke” to Hunter. It is possible that she had a short conversation with her mother. Dewitt is approximately 26 miles (32 minutes) from Stuttgart. On Sunday, September 14, 2014, Cassie attended a demolition derby with Hunter in the neighboring town Dewitt. On Saturday, September 13, 2014, Cassie stayed the night with Hunter, a family friend.
